St Stephen's Primary School

Our curriculum pathway shows the journey of how we plan our curriculum. Starting with the national curriculum, we ensure subject and topic coverage through our long term planning, whilst ensuring a clear progression of knowledge and skills from our subject progression documents.  Here we add our 'key skills of learning' and subject 'concepts' that flow throughout the whole school providing connectivity and cohesion. 

From here we produce a 'first hand experience' plan for parents, enabling learning to continue between home and school easily and effectively. 

Following this medium term plans are produced collaboratively in phases, bringing together ideas and learning experiences from our experienced and creative teaching teams.
