Our School Uniform

At St Stephen's we want everyone to feel they belong. A school uniform is therefore important to meet this aim.

Our school Uniform

  • Mid grey trousars/ skirt/ shorts/ pinafore dress.
  • Mid blue polo shirt
  • Navy blue jumper (ā€˜Vā€™ or round necked) or cardigan (with the school logo if possible)
  • Grey, black or white socks/tights
  • Black school shoes
  • Checked blue/white dresses (optional summer wear)

Our PE Uniform

On days when children have PE or swimming, they can come to school in their PE kit.

  • Plain navy blue tracksuit bottoms, with plain black or navy shorts underneath
  • Mid blue polo shirt
  • Navy blue jumper or cardigan
  • Trainers (as plain as possible please - no bright colours)
  • Hair longer than shoulder length should be tied back and jewellery must be removed for PE

Jewellery and Make-up
The only jewellery allowed to be worn at school are watches and studs for ear-rings. Hoops and dangling ear-rings are not allowed due to health and safety rules.

If earrings are worn they are to be removed by the pupils for P.E., Games and Swimming lessons.

Make-up, including nail varnish, should not be worn at school.

School Uniform Recycling

Parents at our school very kindly run a uniform recycling scheme.

If you would like to purchase pre-loved items, please see the facebook group linked below.

This is a chance to re-use perfectly good clothing to save you money and to save it from unnecessarily to going to landfill. What an amazing idea! Any proceeds from sales go back into school funds to fund vital resources for the children at St. Stephens. Any excess uniform is then donated to schools in Africa.
